Handicapped-Accessible Front Entrance Dedicated

The recently updated front entrance of the Randolph YMCA was dedicated on April 30th. It is fully handicapped-accessible, making entrance much easier for members whose mobility is limited. Bill Lamia, CEO, welcomed guests to the dedication, and Ron Heymann, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Faith Ginsberg, Chairperson of the Healthy Living Committee, added their words of welcome. The Healthy Living Committee raised funds to assist members in need through the sale of engraved pavers which were also dedicated at this time. Bob and Mary Welch who donated the centerpiece stone and Moly Hung whose family honored his mother's memory with their donations added their thoughts to the occasion. Marilyn White, a member who has been proactive to the needs of the less mobile members, added her appreciation for the new entrance. Randolph Mayor Tom MacArthur added his remembrances of his family's involvement with the Randolph YMCA.
Following the outdoor dedication, speakers and guests, members and staff, moved indoors to enjoy a brunch to celebrate the occasion.
